About the event

Networking - We all do it to a certain degree. A lot of the time we do it without even realising it. Most of us want to do it more! In this session we'll look at different angles to The Psychology of Successful Business Networking - and we won't just be talking about Linked In!!!

Being successful in your daily life within an organisation requires strong influencing skills to make change happen. How can you develop and apply your networking skills to 'take people with you', deliver lasting change and so be successful?

We will have two speakers with great experience who will share their thoughts on how to achieve success.

Claire Walton is the owner of Strategic Change Solutions, specialising in organisational change and HR strategy. Claire is listed in Personnel Today's Top 40 most powerful and was a finalist for HR Director of the Year 2007. She has undertaken Change Leadership roles in numerous organisations including Royal Mail, DSG International, WH Smiths, Asda, AMP and Ventura. Claire is known for her passion for quality change management, her no nonsense approach, clarity of vision and speed of execution.

You will already know that Budd's very own Peter Massey is a prolific networker so he will also share some of his secrets for networking and relationship development both within clients and across the industry. Having tried many approaches over the years he knows what works and what doesn't!

In the meantime, why not have a look at this interesting blog which focuses on techniques and tip for successful relationship development. From building relationships with the PA to managing your primary and secondary networks; read it here http://www.hardingco.com/blog/
